We never intended to provide this service, and it is not something we have previously advertised. However once our highly satisfied CV clients had seen the quality of their new CVs and the way they were worded, the requests for help with application forms and job statements started coming in with ever increasing frequency.
Since then we have helped numerous clients with their job statements, and to great effect.
Now at last we have decided to not only actually advertise this service, but also to clarify a few points.
Who can benefit
We are extremely busy writing CVs for our clients, and this remains our top priority. Consequently we have restricted this service to clients who have ordered one of our CVs. In fact there is little point ordering a top quality job statement from us if you got your CV elsewhere as most jobs which ask for job statements need a top quality CV too. It will look very odd if one is worded far better than the other.
What we will and won't do
We are happy to help our clients improve their job prospects by helping them word their statement. This involves re-wording the information they provide into slick and highly pertinent statements. While we are happy to make suggestions for those who's CVs demonstrate they could be suitable for the job, what we won't do is invent scenarios for people who don't have the relevant experience for a particular job.
Additionally there is a threshold to our input for creative writing jobs. For example in the days before we advertised this service we had a request from a journalist to help him with some sample articles. He asked for our help because we had far exceeded his expectations on his CV and cover letter (due to the nature of this particular job application he had to come at the CV and cover letter from a different angle than normal and he was delighted at the results we provided). Whilst we were happy to help him with his CV & cover letter, and also help him with his articles by telling him what the employers were looking for, and giving him advice on how to improve them after we had proofread them, we would not go as far as to write the articles for him. We could have done so and the client would have been more than happy to pay us to do so. However, our professional integrity is such that whilst we are happy to help clients present their skills in a more professional, presentable fashion, we will not use our writing skills to get a job for someone under false pretences. In example of the journalist above, if we had got the job for this client by writing the articles ourselves it would have been unfair not only to the employers, and also the other candidates.

Who writes the job statements
Writing top quality job statements is definitely a highly skilled job. Numerous writers have tried reaching the high standard we demand. However, so far only our two senior consultants have shown the high degree of excellent English and natural creative writing talent necessary to do this job to the highest standard. As our senior consultants are very much in demand for CV work we cannot guarantee delivery of job statements at short notice. However we should be able to give you an idea of timescales when you order. We are happy to receive applications from writers for this work. However, we should state from the outset that unless you are highly creative and very talented then we will not even consider you. All applicants will have to undertake and pass a test to prove your English skills and creative writing talent before we would employ you. If this hasn't deterred you too much and you think you have the talent to qualify then please contact us.
Prices & Ordering
Each job statement varies significantly and takes a great deal of time (and sometimes research) to do properly. We can't give a quote without seeing the full requirements. However we can say that unless the job statement is small then it will almost certainly cost more than your CV.
